Our Process
Inspection
The first step in aircraft engine restoration is a thorough inspection to identify any damage or wear. This may involve disassembling the engine and inspecting each component individually.
Cleaning
After the inspection, the engine components need to be cleaned to remove any dirt, debris, or contaminants. This may involve using solvents, high-pressure water or air, and specialized cleaning equipment.
Repairs & Replacement
Any damaged or worn components must be repaired or replaced. This may involve welding, machining, or ordering new parts from the manufacturer.
Reassembly
Once all the repairs and replacements are made, the engine can be reassembled. This involves putting all the components back together in the correct order and torqueing bolts to the appropriate specifications.
Testing
Before the engine can be used, it must undergo rigorous testing to ensure that it meets safety standards and is functioning properly. This may involve running the engine on a test stand and monitoring various parameters such as oil pressure, temperature, and vibration.
